Willow patrolled the streets, a stake ready in her hand in case the occasion rose. She was hoping that there would be no vampire sightings; despite her bravado, you know, cool witch and everything, she still got scared in hand-to-hand combat. Or, hopefully, Willows-stake-to-vampires-heart combat.
She was tired, a late night, and probably couldn't conjour any flames, or sunlight. If really pressed she'd force herself too, but again, she was hoping there wouldn't be much call for witchcraft that night. Willow smiled to herself. Maybe, there could be a little need for witchcraft when she got home, to her room, but not until then. She blushed, although there was nobody to hear her thoughts, but couldn't keep a smile off her face.
The sudden sound of footsteps from behind her made Willow spin around, pulling up her stake and stepping forward, at the ready. A group of teenagers hurried past, looking at her weirdly and with more than a little fear in their eyes; crazy woman with a stake, everyone. Willow was glad that it was so dark; they probably wouldn't have seen her weapon. If she wasn't careful, she could get attacked by a group of humans.
Where's a Slayer when you need her? Willow thought. The Slayer(s) had been hidden away somewhere, or she would have invited one along. Humming softly to herself to ease the mood, Willow turned at the end of the road she was on, down yet another dark alley. Woot she muttered sourly, but softly enough so that any evil beings would not head her.

Ebony had been walking down the darken streets of Clevland. Her footsteps hardly audible on the stone ground. She had been walking since the sun set looking for a meal, when she finally found one. A lone male strolling the street. He was fairly young. Looked like he was in his early twenties.
Smirking she leaned against the building wall near one of the alley's and waited for him to pass. As he did she smiled. Reaching out she touched his arm and spoke,
"Sir, could you help me. Some jerks took my bag and threw it in the dumpster in the alley and I can't reach it. Would you mind helping a girl out and get it for me?"
Her voice was innocent and sweet. Looking at him with her purple orbs she waited for his reply. He nodded and her smile brightened,
"Sure. Lead the way."
He said. She turned and walked over next to dumpster that had her bag in it. She had tossed it in herself as a decoy for whoever became her prey.
"Thanks, your sweet."
She said as he smiled and hopped up leaning over the dumpsters edge. He pulled her bag out and turned as he hopped down. However when he turned to give her the bag he came face to face with her contorted vampiric face.
Dropping the bag he screamed just as she grabbed his throat and threw him against the wall. Turning his head to the side she bit down and drank him dry. Ebony cast the body to the side,
"Thank you."
She muttered as she grabbed her bag and began walking from the alley as she wiped the blood from her mouth and licked it from her fingers. As she exited the alley and began walking down the sidewalk once again as she sang quietly to herself. Willow froze as the sound of her humming began to contrast with that of someone singing. She stopped the flow of music coming from her throat, and stood in silence, trying to discern if the humming was coming towards or away from her. She couldn't tell.
Willow began to back away quietly, taking miniscule steps backwards, away from the humming and towards the well-lit streets. She craned her neck backwards, watching where she was going whilst trying to watch whoever was approaching her. Right then, she wished that she had slayer senses, or vampiric senses, or anything that meant she could walk backwards and be confident she was going to fall over.
Taking deep breaths, Willow took three more tiny steps backwards. As she raised her foot to take the next step backwards, she felt the sole of her foot colide with a metal trash can, that for some reason had been left out on the street. She silently cursed whoever had done that, before she heard the crash as the metal bin hit the pavement, loudly. Okay. So much for being subtle.

Ebony had been walking down the street singing to herself when she had heard the clicking of steps of a human on the sidewalk. Smirking she followed the sound and when she heard the sound of metal hitting the pavement she came into view.
"Well well well. Whats this? A itty bitty human. Tell me, Do you always make so much noise when trying to find vampires?"
She asked with a laugh as she spotted the stake. To many people carried stakes around these days. It was insane, no vampire was safe anymore. Of course it was mainly the dumb vampires that met their demise by a piece of wood.
She liked to think of herself as one of the more intelligent vampires. She put her hands in her pockets and circled the girl watching her with a devilish grin. After the bin hit the sidewalk, Willow span around, seeing if anyone had heard her. She heard a voice from behind her, and turned slowly, trying to make the person out through the darkness. When they spoke, however, Willow established two things. 1, the person was female, and 2, it was a vampire.
It wasn't like vampires had a special voice that when you heard it you automatically knew. It was more the vampire's words. Well well well. What's this?A itty bitty human. Tell me, Do you always make so much noise when trying to find vampires? Yeah, that sorta gave it away.
Willow pulled the stake up higher, so it was at shoulder level. The vampire laughed, and began to circle around Willow. Shit, she thought. Um, okay. Evil vampire, wants to kill you. What do I do? It took her a moment to realize that she was speaking aloud, which was a double-shit moment. If she had not been scared that she would die, she would've blushed.

The forever sixteen year old Vampire raised an eyebrow at the stake, and then began laughing. She found it overly funny that the timid human was going to try and stake her.
"Going to stake me, sweetheart?"
She asked as she gave her an innocent stare and began inspecting her nails as she leaned casually against the wall, She was curious to see exactly what the red head would do. She obviously wasn't a slayer, thats for sure.
That was unless slayers came intimidated by vampires unable to go around in stalking silence.
"I'd love to see you try. Such a small human so weak. Your not a slayer so I can gaurentee you'll be easy to take care of."
She chuckled and pushed herself from her leaning position on the wall and fixed the strap of her halter top. WORDCOUNT:: 140 MOOD:: Bored TAG:: Willow MUSIC:: Waking the Demon - Bullet for my Valentine COMMENTS:: short post *stakes self*

Willow stood in a defensive position; stake raised nervously. The vampire she was facing laughed at her, and if Willow had been less nervous she would have been embarrassed. A vampire was laughing at her? She would show that pink-headed vamp.
"Going to stake me, sweetheart?" asked the vampire, leaning against the wall and looking at her nails; as if checking for chipper polish. She spoke again. "I'd love to see you try. Such a small human so weak. Your not a slayer so I can guarantee you'll be easy to take care of."
"No, I'm not a slayer. I might be a little hard for you to pick off though." As she spoke, Willow concentrated hard, and a small flame appeared between her clasped hands. "Have you ever met a witch before, you stupid bloodsucker?" She began to feel a flicker of anger at the vampires remark. She was so not weak. She was a strong, powerful witch. And she was going to kill that vampire. If Willow could have, she would have hissed.

Ebony gave a hiss when she seen the flame. Growling she said venom clear in her voice If it wasn't a slayer it was a witch. If it wasn't a witch it was a demon of some sort,
"You damn witches are gonna over run this place.... Fire use to be your enemy too. I believe they use to burn you on the stake for your little tricks."
She watched the girl carefully and huffed in annoyance. Always someone causing a problem. Smirking she taunted the girl more.
"Oh what a pretty little fire ball. Love to see you try and hit me."
She said, a smirk crossing her face. WORDCOUNT:: 110 MOOD:: Bored TAG:: Willow MUSIC:: Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne COMMENTS:: Sorry its short my brain just deflated on me

After Willow had conjured the flame, the vampire hissed lightly. Willow smirked a little. She was safe now, although it was hard work focusing on the fire. The vampire spoke. "You damn witches are gonna over run this place.... Fire use to be your enemy too. I believe they use to burn you on the stake for your little tricks."Willow laughed a little at that, exhilarated. She loved the feeling that she had the power, and the vampire wouldn't be able to kill her. Before she could think of something witty to say in reply, her train of thought was interrupted, by the annoying vampire. "Oh what a pretty little fire ball. Love to see you try and hit me." Willow snorted. She wasn't going to try and hit the vampire. She was just gonna make the flame a bit bigger, so the vampire would...poof. Into dust. She thought she'd tell the vamp that. "No, you blood-sucking moron, I don't need to try and hit you. I'll just create a little sun, right here. You know what happens when you come into contact with the sun, right? Or are you too stupid to even know that?" Willow taunted the vampire, hoping she would get a rise. She was in a bad mood, and burning something would make her day a little better. Ebony gave a growl and took a few steps back, Reaching into her boot slowly she pulled out her dagger and smirked,
"Doesn't matter, I'll just go find some other human to eat."
She said as she gripped the dagger in her hand she was thinking about throwing it. But then she'd have to leave it behind unless the girls got distracted and her little fire ball went poof.
She didn't really want to loose her dagger it was her favorite little friend. If she was reffering to daggers as friends she had a few issues. But who cared. Deffinately not her.
She continued to watch the red head carefully and gave a hiss at the prominent life before backing away.
"Bitch,"
She said angrily,
"I know your scent. I'll find you again and next time you may not be so lucky." WORDCOUNT:: 142 MOOD:: Annoyed...with my brain MUSIC:: For your Entertainment - Adam Lambert COMMENTS:: I hope I can get more than 250 words in my next post....

Seeing that Willow was the one with power now, the vampire growled and backed away. She bent over, and for a second Willow thought that she was going to pounce; but she was just pulling something out of her boot. A dagger. That was...weird. The vampire spoke. "Doesn't matter, I'll just go find some other human to eat." She was holding the knife tightly in her right hand, and Willow tensed her muscles, ready to run and dodge if need be; but she was safe, as her opponent began to back away, hissing. "Bitch. I know your scent. I'll find you again and next time you may not be so lucky." Willow stood up a little straighter and began to take aim with her fireball. "Yeah, ash is always following me around. You might blow into me one day." With those words, Willow took aim and threw the fire towards the vampire as hard as she could. She couldn't see past the right flames to check if she had hit the vampire; she really hoped she had. What right did that vamp have to call her bitch? She was not. Anyway, Willow knew that she couldn't let the vampire get away. She had said "I'll just go find some other human to eat" and Willow didn't want any humans to die. Word Count:; 251 Music:; In Silence. Ebony eyes widened at the sight of the fireball comeing at her. Moving out of the way she hissed as it grazed her arm. Backing into the alley she moved to the fire escape and began climbing up till she reached the roof top.
She examined her arm and hissed.
"Damn it."
Ebony said as she began walking across the roof top. It was going to take some time for the burn to heal so she decided against going after more prey and began heading home as she tucked her dagger in her boot.
It was still awhile till the sun rose so it was no rush for her to get inside from the outside before the sun hit her skin and began barbaquing her.
